Venue: The Nedge Tavern, Stirchley Avenue, Stirchley Village, Telford TF3 1EA.  Tel 01952 590552.

Meets on: Wednesday from 7.30 pm.

Directions to the new venue:
leave the A442 at the Stirchley interchange.  Leave the roundabout immediately after the filling station signposted "Stirchley Services".  The venue is then approx ¼ mile on right.

League Involvement

Shifnal & Telford have been continuously involved in the Wolverhampton League since 1972.

From 1972 to 1975, they competed under the name of Sutton Hill Chess Club.  In 1975 they changed their name to Telford Chess Club , and in 2000 amalgamated with Shifnal to become Shifnal & Telford Chess Club.
